Sicuro.it buys Chino strengthening business software activities

Sicuro.it, which provides digital solutions for workforce management and business process management, announces that it has acquired Chino, a company specialising in data protection and compliance through AI agents. The transaction, the value of which has not been disclosed, is part of the Group’s expansion path, which aims to consolidate its position in the B2B AI software market for medium and large-sized companies, looking at a turnover of EUR 2 million with around EUR 350-400,000 of Ebitda in 2025 and EUR 700,000 in 2026.

With the acquisition of Chino, Gruppo Sicuro.it strengthens its presence in the field of data protection and compliance, increasingly strategic topics in the era of artificial intelligence and advanced regulation such as GDPR and the AI Act. The deal integrates key competencies and enhances the group’s ability to support companies in regulatory compliance and secure corporate data management.

The Sicuro.it Group aims to reach EUR 10 million in turnover by 2027 through a combined plan of organic growth and targeted acquisitions of complementary and strategic companies.

Leading the Sicuro.it Group are Vittorio Guarini, president and CEO, and Nicola Di Campli, a serial entrepreneur with five exits under his belt. They are now joined by the two co-founders of Chino, Jovan Stevovic and Stefano Tranquillini, who join the Sicuro.it team (pictured).

Although Sicuro.it was born in Reggio Emilia and Chino in the Trentino technology hub, set up to promote innovation and the results of scientific and technological research in the region, the group’s customer base will be 80% international. For this reason, the operational and commercial bases will be located in Milan, Berlin and Madrid, in line with ongoing projects and customer needs.

“We are literally excited about this operation and about embarking on a path of growth in which we strongly believe. For us, this represents a starting point towards strategic goals that we think we can achieve by recognising the talent and human capital that still knows how to make a difference, with a strategic vision with respect to how we believe the market is evolving: more and more companies will be disoriented in the face of the explosion of AI and technology solutions in a broader sense, on which it will be necessary to place a magnifying glass to ensure data protection, GDPR / AI act compliance and compliance on every process of the increasingly complex business ecosystem. This operation makes us very satisfied, because Chino will be an opportunity to deepen these key and extremely topical issues, as well as an opportunity to extend our team with truly talented and professional human capital,’ Guarini said in a note.

“After 10 years of Chino and numerous partnership opportunities, we are excited about this opportunity and to have found the ideal partners. With Vittorio and Nicola we were immediately on the same wavelength, especially regarding growth opportunities and the future of the company, which will certainly be more promising and stimulating thanks to them,’ Stevovic and Tranquillini add.
