Reflect Festival 2025, Cyprus at the crossroads of innovation

Renewing the appointment with the tech event that acts as a hinge between the European, African and Middle Eastern ecosystems, Reflect Festival edition 2025 is scheduled to take place in the Cypriot city of Limassol on 15 and 16 May and calls for start-ups, investors and technology experts.

Reflect Festival, here the report from last year’s edition and in which Startupbusiness is a partner, will take place at the Kolla Factory and expects to welcome over 10,000 participants, strengthening connections between emerging Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

The event is organised by The Doers Company: ‘I am proud that Reflect Festival continues to be a key meeting point for technology and innovation in emerging markets. During the festival days, Limassol will be filled with start-ups seeking funding, investors looking for the next opportunity, business executives looking for technological innovations and other technology enthusiasts, students, scientists and politicians. More than 200 investors, more than 300 start-ups and more than 150 speakers are expected.

In addition to the main event, more than 30 side events will take place in the centre of Limassol offering
meetings between investors and founders, these occasions provide additional opportunities to connect, collaborate and explore business prospects beyond the main festival stages.

This year, the Reflect Festival will feature four main stages, each focusing on a different area of innovation:

  • the Big Picture Stage – key trends that are shaping the world of technology and business, presented by founders and business leaders;
  • the Money Stage – a space dedicated to discussions on finance, fintech, cryptocurrencies and investment strategies, to help entrepreneurs and investors navigate a rapidly changing financial landscape;
  • the Future Stage – a deep dive into the future of humanity, covering health and well-being, sustainability, workforce evolution, ethical innovation and the future of cities and mobility;
  • Tech Island Summit – a meeting of government, technology and business leaders who will discuss innovation trends and Cyprus’ role as a growing technology hub.

The festival will also host workshops, panel discussions and networking meetings to facilitate deeper connections and knowledge sharing. The first confirmed speakers are: Markus Fuhrmann, founder and CEO of Gropyus, co-founder of Delivery Hero; Amrapali Gan, founder of Hoxton, former CEO of OnlyFans; Thomas Bigagli, partner of Plug and Play; Anthony Park, real estate expert, content creator and influencer; Pedro Vieira, partner of 500 Global

    In addition to networking activities and a curated programme Reflect Festival includes this year its first Doers Pitch. This is a live ‘Shark Tank’-style competition where selected start-ups will present themselves in front of more than 200 investors looking for their next big investment. This is an opportunity to get key follow-up meetings, secure funding and gain visibility.
